Ecstatic Dance

We dance every second Saturday, sometimes even weekly.
Most of the time we have a warmup class (contact improv, other dance style, mantra singing, breathwork….) for about one hour.
The dance then starts 8.15pm.
Please make sure to get there on time, so we can start all together. We close doors after 8.30h.
Make sure to bring a cussion to sit on/blanket for singing, if it takes place.
Always make sure to check on the website for the latest news.
please note, we have a dance on fridays, too.
Once the month, every third Friday of the month.
Make sure to check the Website for latest info.

Dance Guidelines

Ecstatic Dance – 3 Simple Guidelines
1. We Dance without shoes (or: We Dance Barefoot)
This allows us to connect more fully with the Ground (socks are OK)
If you have a physical condition that you need dance shoes, then OK
2. We Dance without words (or: We Dance with Body Language)
This makes it easier to be in a Meditative State
No Verbal Instruction from the Facilitators
No Talking from the Dancers
3. We Dance as We Are
No Drugs/Alcohol, No Phones, No Camera/Video, No Scents, No Expectations, No Judgements, No Shoulds, No Oughts… Just Be Yourself; With Respect for Ourselves, the Space, and One Another.
