I don't just play music - I provide a full ritual experience of Ecstatic Dance.
I bring my extensive experience of Yoga, Tantra, Mindfulness, Sacred Sexuality, coaching, personal development and workshop facilitation into the whole event.
I play the warm-up music so it's harmonious with the rest of the evening, and so it inspires people into the right state.
I hold the opening circle and 15-20 minutes of exercises which connect people to their own body, to their higher/deeper/true self, to the present moment, and to others in the space.
During the dance journey, I weave together devotional, organic and electronic music from all over the world into music journeys that invoke the mystic, the lover and the animal within us.
I include more slower and sensual tracks, and usually participants share that they felt safe to dance with others and there was much more partnered-dance than usual.
@Nowananda is life-long dancer and music collector, who has been passionate about electronic music since the early 90s.
He is influenced by growing up in a multi-cultural family, playing classical piano for 7 years, traveling and living in South-East Asia most of his adult life, as well as the study, practice and teaching of Tantra, Yoga, healing and body/energy work.
Nowananda weaves together devotional, organic and electronic music from all over the world into music journeys that invoke the mystic, the lover and the animal within us.
His moto is "Through dance, love deepens for ourselves, others, and life.”
Apart from holding his own event "Shamanic Dance ritual", Nowananda played in Ecstatic Dance venues and festivals around Europe and Asia, and his home-made dance journeys are featured on podcasts and channels such as Planet Ibiza, Amalaya, Kośa, GuestRoom, Soul of Zoo, and many others.
He regularly plays his own special edits and mashups, and is learning to produce electronic music.
