Ecstatic Dance
Ecstatic Dance Interlaken has been created to offer the community a safe space to meet once a month and eventually more often.
The idea is to come together on the dance floor and let the music guide our movement.
It is a drug and alcohol free space where we want each and every one to feel welcome to express one self in their most authentic and natural way.
The dance floor is a judgment free zone where you get to move freely and come in contact with others when the energy is mutual.
The guided warm up and the musical journey facilitated by the DJ will give us the opportunity to connect to ourselves and to connect with others.

Dance Guidelines
Ecstatic Dance – 3 Simple Guidelines
1. We Dance without shoes (or: We Dance Barefoot)
This allows us to connect more fully with the Ground (socks are OK)
If you have a physical condition that you need dance shoes, then OK
2. We Dance without words (or: We Dance with Body Language)
This makes it easier to be in a Meditative State
No Verbal Instruction from the Facilitators
No Talking from the Dancers
3. We Dance as We Are
No Drugs/Alcohol, No Phones, No Camera/Video, No Scents, No Expectations, No Judgements, No Shoulds, No Oughts… Just Be Yourself; With Respect for Ourselves, the Space, and One Another.
