The DJ will bring us all down a creative, flowing path until about 9:30. There will be many genres and tempos to facilitate the group’s openings and encounters on the dance floor. Come as you are!
The gifts of dance are many. Here we come forth to share in the ecstasy that humans can reach naturally, from conscious contact with the divine in communal flow.
Ecstatic Dance events welcome anyone, and the dancers are encouraged to reach deeply into their core, and bring their essence more fully into the waking life.
It is recommended that dancers come without expectations and see what unfolds and how they can be moved here at Ecstatic Dance.
Driving Directions and Parking:Free street parking and the lot at 241 S Clinton St are available. Come to Jamaica Cuse and walk to the back, thru the door and down the stairs.

Ecstatic Dance – 3 Simple Guidelines
1. We Dance without shoes (or: We Dance Barefoot)
This allows us to connect more fully with the Ground (socks are OK)
If you have a physical condition that you need dance shoes, then OK
2. We Dance without words (or: We Dance with Body Language)
This makes it easier to be in a Meditative State
No Verbal Instruction from the Facilitators
No Talking from the Dancers
3. We Dance as We Are
No Drugs/Alcohol, No Phones, No Camera/Video, No Scents, No Expectations, No Judgements, No Shoulds, No Oughts… Just Be Yourself; With Respect for Ourselves, the Space, and One Another.
