WE ARE ONLINE ONLY thru summer. SATURDAY AND SUNDAY ON JUNE 8 and 22nd are onsite and online …. 941-928-8866 dj kat.
We are a diverse group all ages, colors, body types, abilities, cultures and spiritual beliefs. Every dance is live dj-ed by Dj Kat or a guest dj, following the 5 rhythms method. Dances are a sacred space to move and be as you like. We have a sweet dance space with floating floor, large opening garage doors (when weather is conducive). Dances open with agreements, guidelines and a short guided warm up. Come dance with us!!! ( we meet 3 times weekly, Saturdays 7-9pm , Sunday 10:30-12pm and Wednesday 10:30-12pm with a 30 minute silent mediation or arrive 30 min prior to times listed above. Please note our location is now Soul Studios 2024 Hyde Park St. – We have moved from past location on Bahia Vista.

Ecstatic Dance – 3 Simple Guidelines
1. We Dance without shoes (or: We Dance Barefoot)
This allows us to connect more fully with the Ground (socks are OK)
If you have a physical condition that you need dance shoes, then OK
2. We Dance without words (or: We Dance with Body Language)
This makes it easier to be in a Meditative State
No Verbal Instruction from the Facilitators
No Talking from the Dancers
3. We Dance as We Are
No Drugs/Alcohol, No Phones, No Camera/Video, No Scents, No Expectations, No Judgements, No Shoulds, No Oughts… Just Be Yourself; With Respect for Ourselves, the Space, and One Another.
