Pre-Imbolc marks the first stirring of life beneath the winter ground.
While not celebrated until the last weekend of the month, this Pre-Imbolc gets us moving.
The fire hasn’t gone out — it’s warming.
The milk hasn’t flowed yet — it’s gathering.
Join this free, online ecstatic dance journey honoring Imbolc: a threshold moment of breath returning, heat building, and the body remembering its desire to move.
This is a somatic, music-led experience, designed to support cathartic movement, grounded sensuality, and embodied renewal. Expect a carefully mixed arc of tribal rhythm, ecstatic bass, and flowing trance music that invites hips, spine, chest, and breath into full participation.

Ecstatic Dance – 3 Simple Guidelines
1. We Dance without shoes (or: We Dance Barefoot)
This allows us to connect more fully with the Ground (socks are OK)
If you have a physical condition that you need dance shoes, then OK
2. We Dance without words (or: We Dance with Body Language)
This makes it easier to be in a Meditative State
No Verbal Instruction from the Facilitators
No Talking from the Dancers
3. We Dance as We Are
No Drugs/Alcohol, No Phones, No Camera/Video, No Scents, No Expectations, No Judgements, No Shoulds, No Oughts… Just Be Yourself; With Respect for Ourselves, the Space, and One Another.
Re: Dig Sessions is Jay is an ecstatic dance DJ and embodied spiritual practitioner whose work weaves music, movement, and seasonal ritual into accessible, inclusive experiences.
He is an ordained minister recognized by the State of Texas, with roots in the Lutheran tradition, and currently offers interspiritual, body-centered spaces focused on healing, integration, and joy.
