Leo Melchers Jr
Ancient rituals, forgotten civilizations, magic and spirituality have always been a key inspiration for Dutch DJ / Producer Leo Melcherts Jr.
Under his alias True Identity, he explores wisdom teachings, microtonality, shamanism, new technology and magic, on and off the dancefloor.
For the last 2 years he has performed with his audiovisual show SHIPIBO, releasing his Beats of Wisdom mix series and working on upcoming releases and remixes.
The year 2020 started with the release of "Made of Stars" an album with soundhealer and shaman Galitta Tassa in a
celebration of the union between masculine and feminine universal forces, mixing, sacred music, electronica with meditation and dance in 432hz.
After producing transformative music for the electronic music scene for a decade Leo is now expanding into new territory also. He is a new dj for Ecstatic Dance Amsterdam.
My MUsic
I love to take the dancers on a journey, surprize them, tease them and give them a wholesome experience ending in bliss, relaxation and integration.
The music that I produce also reflects the combination between the inner journey and the outer journey. Reflecting deeply inside and then displaying that on the outside.
I want to facilitate a place that is safe and that stimulates you to let go, let out your creativity, your unique expressions through dance and interaction.

After releasing his first track “Steppenwolf” on Refune Records he gained traction remixing Royksopp, Sebastian Ingrosso, Hollis P Monroe and Massive Attack.
For the last 2 years he has performed with his audiovisual show SHIPIBO, releasing his Beats of Wisdom mix series and working on upcoming releases and remixes.
