Bio
I am a unique blend of cultures, a bridge between two worlds – half Japanese and half American. My life’s journey began on the vibrant shores of Japan, where I spent my formative years until the age of 13. An intriguing twist of fate led me to Greece for 2.5 transformative years and then to the sunny landscapes of California, where I lived for a remarkable 16 years.
Growing up in Japan, I was immersed in city life, and the concept of artistic expression was somewhat of an enigma in my household. My first festival experience was a revelation, a moment when life itself became art. Despite the naysayers who insisted, ‘You can’t make it as an artist,’ I made a bold decision in 2012 to follow my heart, my unwavering passion for music.
The catalyst for this journey was my encounter with Ecstatic Dance. Dancing had never been a significant part of my life, but within the welcoming embrace of the Ecstatic Dance community, I uncovered layers of enlightenment and embodiment I could not ignore. Dancing became more than a form of expression; it became an integral part of my existence, a source of boundless freedom.
