When not behind the decks providing sultry soundscapes, Smiley Coyote can be found behind a camera lens. Starting out as a public radio DJ in 2007 in Durango Colorado, he played a sunrise show awakening the region with mellow beats. Since then, he has toured with the Salt Fire Circus as their DJ and shared the stage with EDM names such as Tipper, Heyoka (Andreilien), Bluetech, Kalya Scintilla, JPOD and Birds of Paradise to name a few. Preferring the Ecstatic Dance scene to share his array of sounds, he regularly plays all around Northern California, Colorado and New Mexico. With sets ranging from yoga classes to all night dance parties, Smiley Coyote taps into the pulse of the crowd and plays his sets completely for them.
