I grew up on the shores of the Gulf, where sound traveled through rituals and spiritual ceremonies. That deep-listening culture shaped how I experience music — not just as entertainment, but as energy, intention, and connection.
Now based in New York, I build sets around mood, location, time, theme, and collective pulse. My selections flow through warm percussive sounds, global beats, timeless classics, dancefloor gems, and unexpected Shazam treasures. Expect journeys that feel grounded yet free — familiar yet surprising — with space to soften, expand, sweat, and release.

Narr jes is a New York–based DJ with roots along the Gulf coast, where sound and ceremony intertwined from an early age. Influenced by ritual rhythms and collective listening, she approaches DJing as storytelling through frequency and feeling.
She has played opening sets, peak-hour headlining slots, and closing journeys across intimate bars, underground clubs, private parties, studios, weddings, and larger venues. With extensive hours behind the decks and studies in music theory, studio practice, and collective sound environments, she blends technical precision with intuitive flow.
Her sound moves between global percussion, soulful grooves, classics, and unexpected dancefloor discoveries — always shaped by the room, the energy, and the moment.
