My style is rooted in world fusion with a strong electronic influence, blending global rhythms, organic and tribal sounds, percussion, vocals, and instrumentation with multiple genres of EDM.
I like moving through different tempos and energies, from deeper and more melodic spaces into house, bass, progressive, psychedelic, and higher energy electronic music. I’m less interested in staying within one genre and more interested in where the music can take the room.
The experience is meant to feel like a journey. Something that builds, shifts, surprises you, and gives people the freedom to really get into their bodies, let go, and dance. 🌎🎶✨

I’m Erik. I’ve been DJing since 2015, around the same time I founded Shamanic Tonic and began working more deeply with cacao. Over the years, the music and the cacao have naturally become part of the same offering.
For me, DJing has always been about more than playing music. It honors a strong lineage of professional musicians across my dad’s side of the family. I love creating a journey and watching a room shift as people get out of their heads, into their bodies, and ~really~ start moving authentically.
The name Shamanic Tonic represents both sides of what I do. One comes through cacao 🌈🙏🍫 and the other through music, movement, and dance. Both are ultimately about connection, opening up, and creating an experience where people can explore themselves in a sacred and safe way.
My sets pull from a wide range of sounds and styles, with the intention of creating a journey that has depth, energy, playfulness, and room to let go. Flute & drum sometimes pop in too, as well as a separate program entirely devoted to ambient tracks, vocalizations, sonic landscapes for more sound bath vibe. 🎶✨
