Scott spent his entire 20s dancing the night away (and sometimes the mornings!) on countless dance floors in New York City. During this time, he developed a deep love and appreciation for great dance music and the feeling that dancing gave him. From there, he taught himself how to DJ (on vinyl!), playing at gatherings and small clubs, and he even had a mix show on KMVR in Las Cruces, NM. But as time went by and he got swept up into the “real world”, Scott lost touch with his love of dancing and playing music.

After going through a journey of awakening about 10 years ago, Scott discovered Ecstatic Dance in Los Angeles, which reignited his love of dancing and DJing, and he has been a devotee ever since. 

Scott’s sets are very specifically a “soul journey”, taking dancers through a variety of soundscapes that include ambient, trip-hop, dubstep, tribal, Afrobeats, mantra, EDM, electro Latino, world beats and downtempo grooves, all crafted to create an experience of joy, freedom and fun.

Scott has played at retreats and events around Southern California and has been the resident DJ at Ecstatic Dance Birmingham since March 2025.

Being able to guide people through an experience of uninhibited self-expression through dancing brings an indescribable joy to Scott’s life.
