My MUsic

As a devoted yoga practitioner, my ultimate goal is to create musical journeys that reflect the yogic path—helping people unite with their inner power, reconnect with the source, and, most importantly, bring joy to their lives.

Style of Music
I specialize in playing predominantly organic music infused with rich percussion, captivating beats, and minimal lyrics. My sets seamlessly blend ambient soundscapes, tribal rhythms, and deep bass elements, with occasional touches of melodic trap. Inspired by artists like Raio, Mose, Equanimous, Yemanjo, Murray Kyle, Savej, SOOHAN, Xavier Rudd, and Krishna, I craft sonic experiences that feel both grounded and expansive.

Experience I Look to Create
I aim to guide participants on a spiritual and embodied journey that honors the principles of unity and joy. My 2 hr sets often follow a thoughtful two-wave structure: One – two hour sets often one wave

  • First Wave: A gentle warm-up with a minor peak, easing participants into movement and connection.
  • Second Wave: A high-energy crescendo with deeper bass and expressive lyrics, offering a moment of liberation and exhilaration.

To close, I lead participants through an acoustic decline and a short sound journey, giving them space for reflection and grounding. I also incorporate a closing circle to foster communal expression, allowing participants to share their experiences and integrate the journey.

Through these elements, I strive to create a safe, uplifting, and transformative environment where music and movement connect people with themselves, one another, and the greater source of joy and inner power.

Bio

Above all, I am a spiritual practitioner, following the integral yogic path as described by the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta. As a vision quester and supporter of the Native American Sundance in South Dakota, I remain open-minded and committed to learning from all sources, growing through the wisdom and experiences I encounter.

My journey in music spans over 20 years. It began in 2003 as the lead singer and frontman of a heavy rock band in South Florida. After studying Music Business in college, I decided to step away from music as a profession. However, in 2012, while undergoing a profound spiritual transformation, I released my first solo album. This marked the beginning of a new chapter in my life. Shortly after, I traveled to India, where I embarked on a lifelong journey as a yogi and received my spiritual name, “Pranava.”

In 2015, I discovered Ecstatic Dance during my travels in Bali. This transformative experience, along with attending incredible ecstatic dance events in spiritual hubs such as Maui, London, Chiang Mai, Barcelona, and Big Island, inspired me to bring this practice back home.

Today, I consider myself an ethno-mixologist, curating spiritual journeys through music and DJ sets. My intention is to create experiences that guide participants inward, uniting them with their inner power and fostering connection with the greater source. By blending organic sounds, tribal rhythms, and deep bass, I aim to hold a space where movement becomes meditation, and music becomes a pathway to transformation.
