PRANAVA
A sadhaka, song-writer, and ethno-mixologist inspired by many cultures around the globe delivers a fun yet powerful spiritual journey through his music and sets.

My MUsic

My goal is to create a spiritual experience for people. I like to keep my sets predominately organic, with percussion, beat, and minimal lyrics so people can get out of their heads and into their bodies. I often use two waves, first being a warm-up with a minor peak, and the second finishing on a high note with some deeper bass and lyrics. The sets typically end with an acoustic decline and short sound journey.  I like to give time for a short closing circle to allow people to express themselves.

Bio

Above all I am a spiritual practitioner, I follow the integral yogic path as described by The Sivananda Yoga Vedanta, also a vision quester and supporter of the Native American Sundance in SD, I remain open minded to learn from all sources and grow with them as well.

I have been writing songs and creating music for over 20 years. Starting my journey as a lead singer/frontman in a heavy rock band in South Florida in 2003. After studying Music Business in college I decided to walk away from music as a profession. In 2012 I released my first solo album while I was going through a spiritual transformation. Shortly after I traveled to India and started my life long journey as a yogi. It was there I received my spiritual name “Pranava.”

I discovered Ecstatic Dance in Bali in 2015 and after traveling to many other spiritual hubs throughout the globe experiencing some truly amazing ecstatic dance events in (Maui, London, Chang Mai, Barcelona, Big Island, to list a few) I was inspired to bring it home.

I consider myself an ethno-mixologist that likes to curate spiritual journeys through my music and sets.
