Ulf Jochen Lindemann aka [dunkelbunt] crafts Ecstatic Dance sets with a clear musical arc, broad stylistic range, and a finely tuned sensitivity to the room. His journeys move from earthy, percussion-driven and tribal textures into flowing, melodic and electronic landscapes — always eclectic, globally inspired, and carefully curated. No two sets are the same: depending on the setting and the energy of the evening, different facets come forward, carrying the dance, deepening the experience, and continually opening new spaces for movement. At selected moments, live piano and improvised elements may also become part of the set.
Ulf Jochen Lindemann alias [dunkelbunt] kreiert Ecstatic-Dance-Sets mit klarer Dramaturgie, großer stilistischer Offenheit und feinem Gespür für den Raum. Seine musikalischen Reisen reichen von perkussiv, tribal und erdig bis fließend, melodisch und elektronisch – immer eklektisch, weltverbunden und sorgfältig kuratiert. Kein Set ist gleich: Je nach Setting und Energie des Abends entstehen unterschiedliche Schwerpunkte, die den Tanz tragen, vertiefen und immer wieder neue Bewegungsräume eröffnen. Live gespielte Klaviermomente und improvisierte Elemente können die Sets zusätzlich erweitern.

Ulf Jochen Lindemann, aka [dunkelbunt], is a musician, producer, DJ, and facilitator working at the intersection of music, movement, and embodied practice. For more than 25 years, he has been creating genre-crossing sound worlds shaped by rhythmic depth, melodic richness, and a distinctly global, eclectic approach. As [dunkelbunt], he has become known for combining diverse musical traditions with contemporary production and a strong sense for atmosphere, dancefloor dynamics, and emotional arc.
Alongside his long-standing work as an artist and performer, Lindemann has spent many years exploring conscious dance, body-based practice, and transformational group processes. This led to the founding of Boom Chakra Laka in Vienna in 2025 — a platform for dance rituals, dynamic meditation, and creative self-exploration. Through formats such as Ecstatic Dance, Dance of the Archetypes, Yogic Dance, Dynamic Meditation, and other movement-based sessions, he brings together his experience as a DJ, pianist, dancer, and group guide.
His work is rooted in a deep trust in the body as a space of intelligence, expression, and transformation. Whether in a club, a ritual dance setting, or a live musical journey, Ulf Jochen Lindemann creates spaces in which rhythm, presence, and movement become tools for connection, freedom, and lived experience.
