Dr.B is known for very dynamic sets with a range of BPMs from 60 to 145bpm. Many genres from classic ecstatic dance tunes, to African, Indian, Latin America, House, Afrohouse, TechHouse, Drum and Bass and even Psytrance. You will most likely NOT hear anything that resembles disco, pop music, trap, bass, or dubstep 🙂
Bio
Dr.B is a semi-retired chiropractor and integrative medicine practitioner who has enjoyed the Ecstatic Dance scene ever since attending doctorate school in the 90’s. A phenomenon nicknamed ‘Barefoot Boogie’ is where he started out with exposure to West African drum circles and 5-Rhythms teachers. Expect a more eclectic experience that combines snippets he has experienced from 5-Rhythms, contact improv, drum circles, BioDanze, and traditional Big Island ecstatic dances.
