Chakaruna (aka Patty) was born as a DJ in the vibrant jungles of Peru and the lively dancefloors of Guatemala. The name “Chakaruna,” meaning “bridge person” in Quechua, reflects his mission: to bring worlds together. He aims to guide dancers on a transcendent journey across continents, through dimensions, and deep into their true nature. Patty is dedicated to opening hearts and creating blissful experiences that embrace the full spectrum of human emotion.

Firmly rooted in the Ecstatic Dance community, Chakaruna is a regular fixture at Ecstatic Dance Melbourne in Fitzroy and co-hosts the monthly event Energy in Motion on Chapel St. His eclectic sets, featuring everything from organic house to world bass, medicine music to disco bangers, have resonated with communities across Australia, Asia, and North America.
