Bex Naj is a textural switch; omnivorous, genre-expansive, versatile. Her dance floors are permissive and playful body laboratories where she pushes her own edges to support you in going beyond your own. Expect the unexpected as she fluidly shapeshifts from organic, deep, and afro house to amapiano and gqom, drum & bass, deep dubstep, future bass and trap, digital cumbia, dancehall and dembow, even the occasional techno, trance, and psytrance track. Bio
Bex Naj began DJing at age 17, with a handful of deep cuts on vinyl and two turntables. Years later, her style remains ferocious and tender, sexy yet goofy. She also brings decades of experience as a dancer, yoga teacher, and somatic movement educator to all of her sets and events. Because holding any space is ultimately about sculpting energy skillfully without overdetermining the experience of each participant on the dance floor.
