Ecstatic Dance and Somatic Movement. Sunday Service at JaiStar Studios, Lake Worth Beach, South Florida
Come as you are to our co-ed dance and wear comfy clothing you can dance and move in. As you enter our temple space, sign in and take off your shoes. Visit our altars and draw oracle cards. Create an Intention for your dance.
At the beginning of our dance we drop into our body and connect with the earth. We ground ourselves before we begin to move and dance. Our music begins soft and slow and it may draw you towards the ground for some floor stretching.
Our DJ and Facilitator will curate a playlist that will take you through a journey of awakening the chakras and elements within. As the music picks up and we enter high peaks of intensity, we will cultivate our energy with powerful breath practices. We will use sound to move energy as we release and let go in our dance. We will awaken the chakras and dance through the layers of elements including; earth, water, fire, air, love, prayer, sound and light.
As the music slows down, your body slows down, and you can find a comfy seat, cushion, blanket or yoga mat and let your body organically come to a still point. As you surrender and relax into meditation, you may receive divine insights, healing messages and the sensation of feeling rejuvenated and relaxed.
We end our practice with beautiful live music and a guided meditation that will transport you into pure bliss.
BRING WATER BOTTLE: We are Earth Conscious and will no longer provide plastic cups at our events. Please bring your own vessel for water. Thank you.
Dance Church is our Sacred Sunday Session of Ecstatic Dance and Somatic Movement. We have been offering healing dance sessions since May 2012 in South Florida and in Southern California since 2009.
DJ/Facilitator & Live Music: Ecstatic Dance and Somatic Movement with DJ & Facilitator, Arielle Star Triana, author of Heal Through Dance book and training program. Jaime Triana on live drums and live music for the closing meditation. Jaime and Star are the founders of JaiStar Studios, established 2013 Lake Worth Beach.

Ecstatic Dance – 3 Simple Guidelines
1. We Dance without shoes (or: We Dance Barefoot)
This allows us to connect more fully with the Ground (socks are OK)
If you have a physical condition that you need dance shoes, then OK
2. We Dance without words (or: We Dance with Body Language)
This makes it easier to be in a Meditative State
No Verbal Instruction from the Facilitators
No Talking from the Dancers
3. We Dance as We Are
No Drugs/Alcohol, No Phones, No Camera/Video, No Scents, No Expectations, No Judgements, No Shoulds, No Oughts… Just Be Yourself; With Respect for Ourselves, the Space, and One Another.
