✨ Wilmington Ecstatic Dance: New Year Renewal ✨
🌟 January invites us to embrace fresh energy, letting go of what no longer serves us and stepping into a renewed sense of purpose. This is a time to move with intention, grounding ourselves in the present moment while creating space for the possibilities ahead.
💃 Join us on Sunday, January 12th, from 4–7 PM, for an evening of soulful expression and deep connection. Through movement, music, and community, we’ll align with the season of renewal and set a harmonious tone for the year ahead.
🎶 The evening’s musical journey will be led by nënė, whose ethereal soundscapes and flowing rhythms will guide you through an immersive and transformative experience. From gentle, meditative moments to vibrant bursts of energy, their set will inspire movement that reflects your inner journey.
🌿 We’ll begin with an opening circle facilitated by Karola, holding space for mindfulness and connection. This grounding practice will invite you to release and realign, cultivating a sense of inner peace and presence as we enter the dance.
🎟️ Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door, and kids are always welcome for FREE!

Dance Guidelines
Ecstatic Dance – 3 Simple Guidelines
1. We Dance without shoes (or: We Dance Barefoot)
This allows us to connect more fully with the Ground (socks are OK)
If you have a physical condition that you need dance shoes, then OK
2. We Dance without words (or: We Dance with Body Language)
This makes it easier to be in a Meditative State
No Verbal Instruction from the Facilitators
No Talking from the Dancers
3. We Dance as We Are
No Drugs/Alcohol, No Phones, No Camera/Video, No Scents, No Expectations, No Judgements, No Shoulds, No Oughts… Just Be Yourself; With Respect for Ourselves, the Space, and One Another.
