📍 Dance Pros N&V – Wilmington, NC
Join us for a powerful evening of embodied expression and community connection as Wilmington Ecstatic Dance returns on Sunday, May 18th, featuring a dynamic musical journey by DNA and a transformational facilitation led by Ryleigh Smith & Nikki Shaffer.
This month’s theme is: “Transmutation: Deepening Into Darkness”
Through guided movement, intention-setting, and communal ritual, Ryleigh and Nikki will invite us to explore the richness of our shadow and the alchemy that occurs when we meet it with presence. Together, we will move through the layers of self, shedding what no longer serves and dancing into deeper truth.
✨ No experience necessary – just a willingness to move
🧦 Dance is barefoot or in socks
💧 Bring water and wear comfortable clothes
🙏 This is a sober, judgment-free space
Come as you are. Leave transformed.

Dance Guidelines
Ecstatic Dance – 3 Simple Guidelines
1. We Dance without shoes (or: We Dance Barefoot)
– This allows us to connect more fully with the Ground (socks are OK)
– If you have a physical condition that you need dance shoes, then OK
2. We Dance without words (or: We Dance with Body Language)- This makes it easier to be in a Meditative State
– No Verbal Instruction from the Facilitators
– No Talking from the Dancers
3. We Dance as We Are
No Drugs/Alcohol, No Phones, No Camera/Video, No Scents, No Expectations, No Judgements, No Shoulds, No Oughts… Just Be Yourself; With Respect for Ourselves, the Space, and One Another.
