South Shore Nova Scotia Ecstatic Dance

We hope you can join us for a South Shore Nova Scotia Ecstatic Dance experience!

Ecstatic Dance is a dance journey that follows these 3 simple principles:

  • If you have a physical condition that you need dance shoes, then OK

We Dance Without Words

  • This makes it easier to be in a Meditative State.

  • No Verbal Instruction from the Facilitators.

  • No Talking from the Dancers.

We Dance As We Are

  • Just Be Yourself; With Respect for Ourselves, the Space, and One Another.

FAQs

What is Ecstatic Dance?

For more information on Ecstatic Dance, please visit: https://ecstaticdance.org/about/

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Children under the age of 13 need to be accompanied by an adult under their ticket.  Each adult ticket has space for up to 2 children under the age of 13.

What can I bring into the event?

Ecstatic dance can be a workout!
Bring loose comfortable clothing, water and a sports towel.
Bringing snacks to share after the session isn’t a problem, but please don’t leave a mess.

How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

Best way is to contact me on Facebook, look for my posting on https://www.facebook.com/groups/barefootecstaticdance.

What’s the refund policy?

Eventbrite offers a refund up to 1 day prior to the event.  In the case the event is cancelled due to weather, best efforts will be made to get everyone their money back (likely minus any service fees that were charged).

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Not necessary.  A mobile ticket works best if you purchased online.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn’t match the person who attends?

I don’t see why not, but we’ll require adequate proof from the original ticket holder for this arrangement.
