Join Sequim Ecstatic Dance for a special Nighttime event with Guest DJ Dance Medicine on Saturday, August 19th from 7 – 9 PM.
ABOUT DANCE MEDICINE
Dance Medicine aspires to serve as a bridge between communities of dance, and communities in reverence to the medicines of the earth. He hosts of bimonthly gatherings of Dance Temple in Port Hadlock.
ABOUT SET
The musical offering for Sequim Ecstatic will be an ethnically diverse journey of organic instrumentation and voices melded with movement invoking rhythms, overarched by a theme of unity and divine love.

ABOUT SEQUIM ECSTATIC DANCE
Ecstatic Dance is Free-Form Conscious Dance, allowing you to Be and Move as You Wish. As soon as you enter the space, you are invited to let go of judgements and expectations, and allow yourself to feel your emotions, sensations, body, mind, and spirit. All freedom of expression is welcomed, and there is no ‘right and wrong’ here. Trust in the journey and move through everything that arises.
Driving Directions and Parking:LOCATION
Join us at a scenic dance location overlooking Sequim Bay while dancing amongst the trees of the land.
A deck is available to dance on for those who need a flat surface.
This is a private property. Carpool when you can.
Directions to 174 Tall Tree Way:
From Hwy 101 Take a Right (if heading East) or a Left (if heading West) onto Palo Alto Road
Turn left onto Marshall Road (first road on the left)
Continue past the mailboxes and onto the gravel road (please limit speed to 10mph)
At the fork, turn left onto Tall Tree Way
Go to the end of the road you will see 172 & 174 addresses (they are all the same property)
House is a blue-green color.

Ecstatic Dance – 3 Simple Guidelines
1. We Dance without shoes (or: We Dance Barefoot)
This allows us to connect more fully with the Ground (socks are OK)
If you have a physical condition that you need dance shoes, then OK
2. We Dance without words (or: We Dance with Body Language)
This makes it easier to be in a Meditative State
No Verbal Instruction from the Facilitators
No Talking from the Dancers
3. We Dance as We Are
No Drugs/Alcohol, No Phones, No Camera/Video, No Scents, No Expectations, No Judgements, No Shoulds, No Oughts… Just Be Yourself; With Respect for Ourselves, the Space, and One Another.
