We at Rhythm Sanctuary Kohala host a weekly freestyle movement dance led by our house DJ’s. Following the classic Ecstatic dance model of a dance wave, our music mixes many genres such as worldwide, electronic, afro-beat, house, bass, jazz, etc.  Started in January of 2025, we are growing in popularity and love visitors!  If you find yourself on the north end of the Big Island on a weekend, think of dropping by. At present we do not host an opening circle but do hold a closing circle at the end of the 90 minutes.  The space is partially inside with a dance floor and partially outside on the lawn. Kieki’s often play on the lawn as parents and family dance inside or out.
