Ecstatic Dance
Come join us for a unique dance experience that focuses on body awareness and movement exploration. No previous dance experience is required, just bring your curiosity and open mind! Let’s dance together and embrace the joy of movement.
This is a two-hour journey of guided embodiment, intuitive somatic movement and free-form dance (no choreography!), meditation practices and deep relaxation, followed by breathwork, self-care practices and nervous system regulation. Finishing with freshly-made mocktails, connection time and closing circle.
We journey to electronic music, including tribal house, deep house, Afro house, and trance, as well as club classics, commercial tracks and chillout music. Designed to uplift your mood, soothe your nervous system and nourish your soul.
Suitable for all levels, this is a non-judgemental and sober space to move and dance freely in whatever way feels good for you. A space to release the idea of perfection and connect to the music, yourself and your body’s innate wisdom.
It’s an immersive experience, like a flowing meditation, that helps you to connect deeply with your physical sensations, feelings and emotions, for healing, transformation, joy and freedom. It’s a space to be yourself, to move, to heal, to breathe, to just be.
All trauma-informed & neuro-affirming. Please let me know if there is anything that could make the sessions more accessible for enjoyable for you.
Please bring: a yoga mat, warm layers & socks, a water bottle, blanket, cushion or pillow.
What to wear: comfortable loose clothing, workout clothes or dress to express yourself.

Dance Guidelines
We dance without shoes – this allows us to connect more fully with the ground (socks are OK)
We dance without words so we can reconnect to our bodies, immerse ourselves in our inner experience and access a flow state like meditation
We dance as we are – no drugs/alcohol, no phones, no camera/video, no expectations, no judgements, no shoulds, no perfection… just be yourself with respect for ourselves, the space, and one another
Meet yourself wherever you are and be open to whatever comes up, grounding yourself in safety
You’re the expert in you – tune into what feels good and if it doesn’t then stop. Honour your own needs, this is your dance
