ECSTATIC DANCE at St. Pete Calisthenics
in Downtown St. Pete’s vibrant Warehouse Arts District!
Ever since the sudden closing of The legendary Movement Sanctuary over 2 years ago 
, we have waited & searched long & hard for the right warehouse venue to resume the magical 
Edances that we hosted there. And we feel we have finally found it at St. Pete Calisthenics’ 
Acro-Yoga warehouse (aka The Playground)! 
So WELCOME 
to the alcohol, drug, & judgement-free 
DANCE PARTY 
that might just change your life, as it has for us, & SO many across the globe! 
A SAFE, mindful, & intentional dancefloor where you are FREE to BE your Highest, most AUTHENTIC self, to just have FUN & be a kid again! 
There is NO right or wrong way to move, no choreo to follow, & no dance skills necessary at Ecstatic Dance! It’s all about finding your own unique FLOW 
to a wide variety of soul-stirring 
music from around the world, carefully selected by Tampa Bay’s most-experienced Ecstatic DJs 
whose ears go beyond the club!

, Edancing is the ALL-NATURAL Medicine that will make you feel ALIVE again! You will feel seriously HIGH 
, but without any drugs, any seratonin crash, or hangover the next day!

Here are the guidelines to magical fun!
Mutual CONSENT is required, so please ASK FIRST before engaging with another dancer.
Please refrain from ALCOHOL & DRUGS so that everyone is CLEAR of heart & mind.
Please NO judgements of others and yourself so that everyone feels free to PLAY.
Please RESPECT the space. Respect Others & Yourself.
Please NO phones, photography, videography, or conversations ON the dancefloor.
Please NO shoes or drinks (besides water) on the dancefloor.
ALL races, religions, nationalities, genders, skill levels, & orientations are WELCOME! 
KIDS of all ages are welcome! 
LED glow/flow toys are welcome! Thank you for your understanding & cooperation in co-creating the SAFEST, HIGHEST-VIBED

7:00pm – Doors Open
7:30pm – Welcome & Warmup
8:00pm – Opening Circle*
8:30pm – Dance Begins
10:00pm – Closing Circle
10:30pm – Cool Down & Social!
11:00pm – Event End.
* No one will be permitted to join after 8pm, so please be on time!

The space

Learn more about ecstatic danceWe dance barefoot
This allows us to connect more fully with the ground. Socks are OK, and dance shoes are fine if a physical condition calls for them.
We dance without words
This makes it easier to be in a meditative state. No verbal instruction from the facilitators, no talking from the dancers.
We dance sober, as we are
No drugs or alcohol, no phones or cameras, no scents. Just be yourself, with respect for ourselves, the space and one another.
