Full Moon Ecstatic Dance hosted by Tulip Tree Healing Arts Collective occurring at Silverbirch Studios.

Ecstatic Dance is a freeform dance movement journey, held in a safe and sacred container. It’s a place where we can be our unique selves without distraction. The music gradually builds intensity into an ecstatic state and gently brings us back down. It is a dance done with no talking and no drugs/alcohol to support the ease of finding authenticity and a meditative space.

This ecstatic dance is also a flow jam, meaning we welcome flow arts, i.e. poi, hula hoops, juggling, fans, Levi wand, devil stick, staff – no fire.

This event is put on by a collaborative effort of multiple individuals. Donations go to support the venue, all the helpers, and Tulip Tree Healing Arts Collective. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Dance Guidelines

Ecstatic Dance – 3 Simple Guidelines
1. We Dance without shoes (or: We Dance Barefoot)
This allows us to connect more fully with the Ground (socks are OK)
If you have a physical condition that you need dance shoes, then OK
2. We Dance without words (or: We Dance with Body Language)
This makes it easier to be in a Meditative State
No Verbal Instruction from the Facilitators
No Talking from the Dancers
3. We Dance as We Are
No Drugs/Alcohol, No Phones, No Camera/Video, No Scents, No Expectations, No Judgements, No Shoulds, No Oughts… Just Be Yourself; With Respect for Ourselves, the Space, and One Another.
