Ecstatic Dance - TAMPA One Year Anniversary!
Ecstatic Dance is an invitation to tap back in to Body-Mind connection and to authentic relating! A community driven experience that organically creates a safe space for authentic expression, release and healing. Some people yoga, some journal, some draw or meditate….and some dance. Whatever and however, you want to express your freedom [with no hard to Self or others] – it is fully welcomed and appreciated in this space.
The Practice: We’ll gather into our opening circle while grounding and creating our sacred space then together. We’ll flow into a Movement Workshop led by Kaylee Davis then right into our Dance practice with Donnie Laryzzo! Jennifer Huber will then guide us on an Integrative Sound Immersion (Yeah buuuddy!)
No dance experience required – you don’t even have to dance! We have other offerings available to you if your body needs stillness.
Wear comfortable clothing.
BYOWB (Bring your own water/cup and bowl) The Nourish Station will be stocked with water and fresh fruit!
Our invitation to you is this: Be curious, come play and be up to something Bigger than yourself. (And bring a friend or two!)

$20 @ the door ($1 processing fee for all major cards)

RULES OF THE SPACE:
1 – Judgement Free Zone
This is a safe space that are creating together to be totally and completely ourselves without judgement. Offer the same open heart to others that you would want in return and everyone wins.
2 – No Shoes/Eating/Drinking/Talking on Dance floor
The Dance floor is a sacred space. If you and a fellow dancer decide to share a verbal exchange, or need to replenish (rest/water/snack) take it over to the Comfy Zone.
3 – Intoxicated by LOVE!
Ecstatic Dance is a moving meditation; a safe opportunity to be and explore YOU without any filters. Leave ALL judgement, alcohol and drugs at home and let your authentic self come out to play!
4 – Say no to Phones!
Please leave your phones silenced and in the designated area. Make sure you plan for a dedicated practice free of phone distractions; everyone else will be doing the same for you. ♥
*It doesn’t matter what your shape, size, gender/non-gender, hair color or whatever is. What matters is that you have magic inside of you and we desire to hold space for you to find and express it freely. You are wanted and you belong! Love, Laryssa & Don*
Ecstatic Dance – 3 Simple Guidelines
1. We Dance without shoes (or: We Dance Barefoot)
This allows us to connect more fully with the Ground (socks are OK)
If you have a physical condition that you need dance shoes, then OK
2. We Dance without words (or: We Dance with Body Language)
This makes it easier to be in a Meditative State
No Verbal Instruction from the Facilitators
No Talking from the Dancers
3. We Dance as We Are
No Drugs/Alcohol, No Phones, No Camera/Video, No Scents, No Expectations, No Judgements, No Shoulds, No Oughts… Just Be Yourself; With Respect for Ourselves, the Space, and One Another.
