Ecstatic Dance
Welcome to Ecstatic Dance Columbus! We dance EVERY Sunday at 1pm.
Founded by father-daughter duo Nick and Ayala Wolak, this dance is a remarkable demonstration of Columbus’ gifted, kind, and compassionate community. We are dancers, artists, musicians, leaders, families, and a wide array of wonderful human beings who connect through uninhibited movement.
Joel (DJ OneTree) and Allan (DJ Kofdrop) are the amazing house DJs who create sound experiences that guide us through each dance journey. We happily host guest DJs for various events and dances! If you are interested, please email ecstaticdancecolumbus@gmail.com
Ecstatic Dance is movement practice that encourages you to let go of judgment and listen to how your body wants to move. There are no specific steps to follow – simply allow the music to move you.
Entry is $20-40. If you are interested in a flex rate, please email us at ecstaticdancecolumbus@gmail.com for volunteer opportunities.

All ages, bodies, and people welcome.
This is a sober space. We come sober, stay sober, and leave sober.
We dance shoeless! We dance without words! (sounds are okay:))
We keep our tops on and show up with good hygiene.
We receive and give clear, enthusiastic consent before engaging in any dance. Any dance may be ended or declined with prayer hands. Let’s celebrate those “no’s”!
