Ecstatic Dance
In Ecstatic Dance we attune to rhythm and move freely to where the music takes us, often towards trance and feelings of ecstasy. Each dancer connects to their own body and emotions, while sharing the space with others and able to partner with consent. Our intention is to co-create a healing movement journey in which everyone feels safe, yet also able to try new things and push their edges! We dance without shoes, without words and AS WE ARE:
• No Drugs/Alcohol
• No Phones or Camera/Video
• No Expectations, No Judgements…
Respecting Ourselves, the Space, & One Another!
*300 baht or 5-Dance Pass/1000 baht*
PLEASE ARRIVE BY 11am SO WE CAN BEGIN TOGETHER!
DJ Jodo (Johnny Doyle): “I’ve been dancing and performing for 40 years and facilitating since 2015. I love and play a wide range of music, leaning into Tropical, Organic and Afro-House, mindful of balancing the 4 Elements- Earth 🌏, Air, 🌬️Fire 🔥 and Water 💦
I always look for music that is strong yet subtle, poly-rhythmic and sometimes surprising!”

Dance Guidelines
Ecstatic Dance – 3 Simple Guidelines
1. We Dance without shoes (or: We Dance Barefoot)
This allows us to connect more fully with the Ground (socks are OK) – If you have a physical condition that you need dance shoes, then OK
2. We Dance without words (or: We Dance with Body Language)
This makes it easier to be in a Meditative State
No Verbal Instruction from the Facilitators – No Talking from the Dancers
3. We Dance as We Are – No Drugs/Alcohol, No Phones, No Camera/Video, No Scents, No Expectations, No Judgements… Just Be Yourself; With Respect for Ourselves, the Space, and One Another.
