Ecstatic Dance

✨🎶 We invite you to an unforgettable dance & music journey, along with a therapeutic Tibetan singing bowls concert during Ecstatic Dance at Abra Studio 🎶✨💃🕺

💫 What is Ecstatic Dance? 💫
It’s more than just dance – there are no steps to follow, no patterns to copy. It’s your own authentic movement, allowing you to express what is true in the present moment. It’s a journey inward, meditation in motion, and a celebration of freedom. Whatever you do is right, welcomed, and warmly embraced within the co-created dance space.

Ecstatic Dance is practiced all over the world, bringing people together regardless of age, culture, or experience. Its roots reach back to shamanic traditions, where dance was a way of healing and connecting with oneself and the surrounding world.

During this event, DJ Kysari will guide us on an intentional musical journey leading to spontaneous dance, emotional release, and deep relaxation of the body. Music from different corners of the globe will inspire movement that naturally expresses your energy and emotions. This is a time to rediscover joy, lightness, and harmony within yourself, while connecting authentically with others in an atmosphere of full acceptance.

💫 Why join? 💫
Ecstatic Dance allows you to explore your inner potential, expand your awareness, and experience the ecstasy of being fully present in the moment. It’s a unique space where everyone can simply be themselves, without expectations or judgment.

💫 Event Flow: 💫

  1. Landing in the space – intention & connection
We begin at 7:30 PM by gathering in silence. This practice helps us quiet the mind, attune to the group’s energy, and become mindful of what each of us brings. It’s a perfect time to set your personal intention for the evening.

  2. Opening circle – welcome & guidelines
We officially greet one another, go over the Ecstatic Dance guidelines, and those who wish can introduce themselves and share their intention.

  3. Dance warm-up – arriving in the body
With gentle music, we transition from the head into the body. Guided by Aga, the warm-up will help release tension and open us to being “here and now.” This is the moment to feel your body, breath, and natural rhythm.

  4. Intuitive Ecstatic Dance journey – freedom of movement
The heart of the evening! Charismatic DJ Kysari (Kris Leczek) will craft a unique musical landscape, guiding us through different emotions, rhythms, and vibrations. You can dance alone, with others, explore contact improvisation, or simply be in silence and flow. Every movement is welcome – spontaneity is the key to authenticity.

  5. Sound relaxation with Tibetan bowls – deep calm
The journey ends with a deeply soothing Tibetan singing bowl concert. Their vibrations harmonize body and mind, completing the dance in peace and gratitude.

  6. Closing circle – sharing or silent presence
We finish by coming together in a circle, offering space for sharing impressions or simply being together in silence. It’s a moment to integrate the energy of the dance and leave with gratitude.

💫 Simple guidelines that create the magic: 💫

  1. Dance barefoot – for better grounding (socks are fine).

  2. Silence during the dance – no talking, to immerse fully in the experience.

  3. Full authenticity – no alcohol, no phones, no judgment – just you and your movement.

Join the dance tribe and let the music lead you into freedom and expression. We can’t wait to see you! 🤗💛
