Ecstatic Dance

Dance is Medicine.

We are honored to be part of Pride weekend, providing a safe place to get our bodies activated for a full night of expression and celebration.

From Big Sur to San Francisco, we practice intentional dance through a journey of sound waves and musical genres.

Enjoy a transformative evening of embodied movement with our Big Sur Coastal DJ’s Matthew and Hunter, who will encourage us to open up, feel inspired, sensual and curious.

This is a sober event.

Driving Directions and Parking:Snap your fingers and hope for the best.

Reminder: we are in the city, so please make sure to keep your seats clear of anything that may be tempting to a person walking by.

Dance Guidelines

Ecstatic Dance – 3 Simple Guidelines
1. We Dance without shoes (or: We Dance Barefoot)
This allows us to connect more fully with the Ground (socks are OK)
If you have a physical condition that you need dance shoes, then OK
2. We Dance without words (or: We Dance with Body Language)
This makes it easier to be in a Meditative State
No Verbal Instruction from the Facilitators
No Talking from the Dancers
3. We Dance as We Are
No Drugs/Alcohol, No Phones, No Camera/Video, No Scents, No Expectations, No Judgements, No Shoulds, No Oughts… Just Be Yourself; With Respect for Ourselves, the Space, and One Another.
