Ecstatic Dance

Greetings Dancing Souls. This is a group for those of us who know that Dance is Essential to our Lives.

Bass Church  is a weekly Sunday Dance  designed to activate our beloved dance community in the support of our mental, physical, emotional and spiritual health. Connection and belonging are primary human needs as are touch, joy and laughter. We invite you to bask in this container as a balm to the challenging times we face right now and as a way to connect with other like minded individuals.

Many of us have seen that our “factions” have shifted. Communities have splintered, friendships strained, families challenged… We are reinventing and reorganizing ourselves and learning about how to stand in our truth even more deeply. We are building a new group of beloveds that are aligned with a common desire to express and connect.

At Bass Church we uphold medical freedom and our right to choose how we relate to the world at this time. We Empower you to make your own health choices and show up to celebrate life though dance however you choose.  We stand in our sovereignty and gather for our spiritual practice of dance through our natural born rights.

Driving Directions and Parking:Our space has plenty of parking. When you enter the large building, the dance studio is to your left all the way towards the back.

Dance Guidelines

Ecstatic Dance – 3 Simple Guidelines
1. We Dance without shoes (or: We Dance Barefoot)
This allows us to connect more fully with the Ground (socks are OK)
If you have a physical condition that you need dance shoes, then OK
2. We Dance without words (or: We Dance with Body Language)
This makes it easier to be in a Meditative State
No Verbal Instruction from the Facilitators
No Talking from the Dancers
3. We Dance as We Are
No Drugs/Alcohol, No Phones, No Camera/Video, No Scents, No Expectations, No Judgements, No Shoulds, No Oughts… Just Be Yourself; With Respect for Ourselves, the Space, and One Another.
