Ecstatic Dance
Monthly ecstatic dances in Denmark, held with the intention of allowing the body/mind to free itself from the usual patterns/habits and explore consciousness in an embodied way.
This is a safe place to explore how the body wants to move in the moment, in relation to music and other beings.
There is no experience required, you do not need to know HOW to dance. All that’s needed is a willingness to step into the space and allow movement to happen.
Arrive 6:15pm for 15m warm up/land in space/stretch
Doors will close at 6:30pm and we will dance for 75min, closing the space by 8pm.
As it is very close to the full moon please wear something in a similar colour to the moon in its full brilliance.
No phones
No talking on dance floor
No drugs or alcohol
Barefoot or socks
Please be mindful of your body in the space

Dance Guidelines
Ecstatic Dance – 3 Simple Guidelines
1. We Dance without shoes (or: We Dance Barefoot)
This allows us to connect more fully with the Ground (socks are OK)
If you have a physical condition that you need dance shoes, then OK
2. We Dance without words (or: We Dance with Body Language)
This makes it easier to be in a Meditative State
No Verbal Instruction from the Facilitators
No Talking from the Dancers
3. We Dance as We Are
No Drugs/Alcohol, No Phones, No Camera/Video, No Scents, No Expectations, No Judgements, No Shoulds, No Oughts… Just Be Yourself; With Respect for Ourselves, the Space, and One Another.
