Corey Sheikh has been weaving music through the facilitation of ecstatic dances, breath circles, sound journeys and meditation sessions since 2012. His musical & meditative journeys pull on sounds that blend the worlds of Organic, Shamanic Tribal Fusion, Ethnic, Progressive & Melodic Techno/House along with Meditative space ambient and cosmic synths. One of his newest endeavors in Music Production is the blending of shamanic, Gregorian, and ethereal vocals with the beat of the earthly drum, cosmic synths and organic beats. Both in the music he produces & the meditations he guides hold the intention of eliciting inner peace, activating latent joyful energy and coming into grounded embodied presence. Sheikh offers his main “AWAKEN Experience” at festivals, retreats and local events, which is a weave of sound, movement, breath, dance & meditative exploration.
