Ecstatic Dance Big Island began
on the Dance Floors of Kalani,
Puna, Big Island.
Founded by Max Fathom in 2000,
who had learned of Gabrielle Roth's 5 Rhythms
and Conscious Dance through Body Choir in Austin, Texas,
fell in love with electronic music on the Playa...
blended the two...
and the rest is history.
Max, E-lizabeth & Community
carried the Wild & Ecstatic torch there until 2009.
Kalani now runs a Sunday Morning Dance there called Sun-Dance.
